Nice to meet you! I’m Miki.
I wear kimono once a week as part of my daily life. I absolutely love kimono—seeing them, wearing them, and talking about them.
Nowadays, almost no one wears kimono in everyday life in Japan.
I will share Japan’s disappearing kimono and culture with people around the world.
By doing so, we hope to bring Japanese kimono and culture back into our lives.
My kimono life is all about “enjoying it, keeping it simple, and avoiding hassle.”
Of course, “without spending too much money.”
I hope kimono can become more accessible and casual for everyone.

はじめまして！Mikiです。
週イチで着物を着て生活しています。着物は見るのも着るのも話すのも大好きです。
とは言っても、会社員でフルタイムで働き、育児、高齢の両親の見守りなどの家庭の役割もあり
たいへん忙しい毎日です。
私の着物ライフは、「無理なく、楽しく、めんどくさくなく」がモットーです。
もちろん、「お金もなるべくかけないで」。
もっと着物がみなさんの身近で気軽な存在になればいいなと思っています。
京都に住んで半世紀。怪談、麻雀も大好きです。
英語でも発信中。海外の方にも日本の着物や文化を広める活動をしています。
