Hi, I’m Miki!
Based in Kyoto, I’m a nurse by profession and a storyteller at heart.
Wearing kimono, I share the mysterious legends and cultural tales of Japan through my blog.
My favorite stories are about powerful and sometimes tragic women—like Hashihime and the child-rearing ghost. I visit the actual locations in kimono, hoping to capture not just the story, but the atmosphere too.
I create content in both Japanese and English—photos, blog posts, and short animation videos—to help people around the world discover how fascinating Japan truly is.
One day, I hope to offer live storytelling or guided tours based on these legends.
Here on this blog, you’ll find a mix of legends, traditions, kimono adventures, and a dash of comedy!

はじめまして！Mikiです。
京都を拠点に、着物で日本の伝説や不思議な物語を発信している看護師です。
本業は医療の世界にいますが、心の奥では「伝え手」でありたいと思っています。特に、橋姫や子育て幽霊など、ちょっと怖くて美しい日本の女性の物語が大好き。着物を着て現地をめぐり、その空気ごと伝えたいと願ってブログを始めました。
英語でも発信中。海外の方にも「日本って面白い！」と思ってもらえるよう、写真やアニメ動画も制作しています。
将来は、伝説を語るライブ配信やツアーガイドも夢のひとつ。
